Men’s Corduroy Blazers; Wale Of A Time
The temperature is dropping and, although it might not be time for wool, it is time to start wearing some heavier fabrics and layers just in case it gets unusually hot or cold.
A perfect fabric that keeps you warm but lets you breathe is corduroy. Corduroy is not necessarily one of my favorites but it definitely is perfect for this transitional weather and looks great. Corduroy is one of those fabrics I have deemed an official fall/winter fabric. Corduroy could also be considered a classic of some sorts. Everything old is new again, and this bring corduroy front and center for autumn.
Nothing says fall better than a corduroy blazer with cool suede patches on the elbows.In a previous life, corduroy was usually reserved for the preppy kids, but this season it's a white hot, high fashion fabric for fall. Don't just grab one of your old favorites from the 80's from the back of your closet, though. The latest cuts and styles update corduroy very nicely.
Instead of the traditional wool, you might want to opt for a corduroy suit, or at least a blazer when putting together your cool weather wardrobe.Not sure if corduroy is for you? Stick to the "old reliable" colors like camel, brown or dark brown. These are a very safe place to start slipping corduroy into you everyday wardrobe.
These corduroy blazers look great with a pair of khakis, jeans or flannels topped with a t-neck or perhaps shake things up with a cool denim shirt.
So, in summary, while you men out there are shopping for your fall sweaters and jackets, make sure to snag yourself a corduroy blazer. It's not only in fashion but it's the perfect weight for this season.
